Overview
This Crew Policy applies to every freelance crew member — camera operators, editors, sound engineers, and other production professionals — who lists their services on KrewLink.
Profile accuracy
- List only skills, equipment, and experience you can genuinely deliver. Misrepresenting credentials or portfolio work is grounds for removal.
- Keep your availability calendar up to date — accepting a booking you cannot fulfil counts as a provider cancellation under the Cancellation Policy.
- Rates shown on your profile must match what you charge for the booking; undisclosed extra charges are not permitted.
On the job
- Arrive at the agreed location no later than the confirmed call time.
- Bring the equipment and deliverables agreed upon at booking time, in working condition.
- Communicate any delay or issue to the customer and through the platform as soon as it is known, not after the booking window has passed.
Payouts
Payouts are released to your linked payout method after the booking is marked complete and any dispute window has passed. Payout timing and fees are detailed in your dashboard's Wallet section.
Conduct and safety
Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct toward a customer, another crew member, or on-set staff results in immediate suspension pending investigation, regardless of how many prior bookings you have completed.
Repeated cancellations
Crew members who cancel confirmed bookings inside the provider cancellation window (see the Cancellation Policy) more than twice within a rolling 90-day period will have new bookings paused until a support review is completed.
